“As a 350-year old company, we have a unique story to tell and I’m extremely proud of how we communicate our story across a variety of platforms, engage audiences with our brand in a meaningful way, and most importantly how our communications strategies help impact the lives of our customers, employees, and future generations,” said Carmen Ferrigno, vice president of Communications for Saint-Gobain.

“A PRSA Pepperpot Award is coveted in the Philadelphia region among public relations professionals and it is an honor to be awarded two first place awards and to bring home the top award.”

The PRSA Pepperpot Awards recognize best-in-class PR campaigns, tactics and professionals. More than 110 entries were judged in 38 categories ranging from feature stories to social media campaigns and brochures to community relations.

This is the third consecutive year Saint-Gobain has received an award for its Building Our Future Together program, which was developed in collaboration with Brownstein Group.

For the 2013 Greenbuild trade show, held in Philadelphia, Saint-Gobain used research, integrated communications, and measurement to launch “Life’s Material Difference” at the trade show and raise brand recognition in North America. The program was developed in collaboration with Comm with support from Brownstein Group.

Saint-Gobain, headquartered in Valley Forge, is one of the world’s largest building materials companies with more than 265 North American locations and about 15,000 employees. Saint-Gobain reported sales of $7.9 billion in 2013.
