Ronald McDonald House Distributes Grants

By

Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Philadelphia Region, Inc. has awarded more than $269,000 in grants to 15 local non-profit organizations.  Included among recipients is the Clarke Schools for Hearing and Speech in Bryn Mawr.

Clarke, founded in 1867, has the distinct mission of teaching children who are deaf and hard of hearing how to listen and speak using the latest technology. The school’s Bryn Mawr location also provides services to adults.

“As the holiday season approaches, Ronald McDonald House Charities is honored to be able to keep the spirit of giving alive throughout the year,” said Bill Roberson, president of RMHC of the Philadelphia Region, Inc. and a local McDonald’s owner/operator. “We’re honored to support local charities in their efforts to better the lives of children in our communities.”
