Chester County Commissioners have appointed Jonathan Schuck of Malvern to be the new director of the county’s real estate assessment and tax claim department.

Schuckhas served as interim director since Jeff Laudenslager retired earlier this year. Schuck has worked in the department since 2009 and has also managed the county’s tax claim office. The department has 35 professionals and administers more than 190,000 tax parcels valued at $40.5 billion.

Schuck is a graduate of Penn State University and has an MBA degree from Widener University.
