LiquidHub: Mergers Blend Wayne-Based Marketing Agency

By

Jettisoned by a three-year growth spurt and a $53 million infusion of capital investment, Wayne-based LiquidHub recently acquired New York marketing agency Foundry9 to strategically blend technology and marketing expertise into one company.

“Balancing the needs of the [Chief Marketing Officers] and [Chief Information Officers] represents a new kind of firm,” LiquidHub co-founder Rob Kelley said in a Philadelphia Business Journal report. “This is not common in the marketplace, and we think it is really going to be the right kind of partnership for our clients as they undergo digital transformation.”

The two firms had collaborated on projects over the past two years, and LiquidHub is also “aggressively” on the lookout for other strategic partners “strong in emerging technology, like social media, mobility, cloud computing and big data analytics,” the article stated.
