Genesis HealthCare of Kennett Square has purchased yet another health care facility, the Hackett Hill Healthcare Center (now called Hackett Hill Center), a 68-bed skilled nursing facility in Manchester, N.H.
Genesis now has 400 skilled nursing centers and senior living residences in 28 states. With the purchase of Hackett Hill Center, 31 of these are in New Hampshire.
In the next few months the firm will make some major renovations to Hackett Hill Center, apply for the We Honor Veterans program, and add managed care contracts for better patient coverage. The center aims to provide individualized health care in a welcoming, home-like environment.
Genesis is one of the nation’s largest skilled nursing care providers.
