This fall, just in time for the hockey season, the Chaddsford Winery introduced two wines boosting the Philadelphia Flyers. Both are said to be preferred wine of the Flyers.

Flyers White is a blended wine, a dry cellar blend of French-American Hybrid grape varieties with a fruity flavor, similar to a Sauvignon Blanc.  The wine pairs well with creamy cheese, trout and pork tenderloin.

Flyers Red is a dry cellar blend of grape varieties – medium bodied with touches of rich fruit, spice and pepper. Flyers Red goes with pot roast, light fare and sharp cheddar.

Both wines retail for $15.99.  For a menu of wines and a list of tastings, tours and special events at the winery, see www.chaddsford.com
