The American College of Financial Services in Bryn Mawr has welcomed NFP Life, one of the nation’s largest life insurance distribution companies, as a corporate member at its Cary M. Maguire Center for Ethics in Financial Services.

NFP Life joins 13 other leading financial services organizations in supporting the mission of the Center for Ethics, which is to raise the level of ethical behavior in the financial services industry.

The Cary M. Maguire Center is one of six Centers of Excellence at the college, located at 270 S. Bryn Mawr Ave. The Center offers a variety of benefits to its members, including ethics workshops and retreats. It also produces and supports research on ethical issues specific to the financial services industry and offers ethics training and consulting.

“The Cary M. Maguire Center for Ethics is committed to helping leaders think through ethical issues and implement ethical solutions,” said Jim Mitchell, chairperson of the Maguire Center’s advisory board. “We are proud that NFP Life has joined our other member companies in helping support our mission.”

Anne Long, American College Board member, said members have a “joint commitment to doing business in accordance with the highest ethical principles in today’s financial climate.”
