Atglen Publisher Schiffer Publishing Scores Lots Of Points With Greatest Console Game History Book

By

Atglen bookseller Schiffer Publishing has recently scored lots of points with nostalgic video gamers, particularly from rave reviews on Brutal Gamer and gameblogs.

The new title, “The 100 Greatest Console Video Games 1977-1987,” transports readers back to the beginnings of the gaming age and digs deeply into each of its 100 finalists.

“Flip open the cover and you’ll discover a treasure trove of information, pictures and thoughts on some of the greatest titles ever made on any console,” Jason Micciche wrote in his review. “These are real, honest-to-goodness classics here, the likes of Fantasy Zone II on the Sega Master System, Gradius on the NES, and (you knew it was coming) Moon Patrol on the Atari 5200.”
