Herrs, Inc. in Nottingham is known for creating holiday fun for the entire region, and this Halloween is no exception.

Herrs plans to put the HOWL back into Halloween with its Halloween Happenings event from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 27.  The factory at Routes 1 and 272 will be open for special, free Halloween themed factory tours.

There will be trick or treating and treat bags for children under 12.  Herrs says costumes are optional – but having fun is required.  There will also be free hay rides for families, with spooky and festive sites to see along the way.

Chippers Cafe will have dinner specials that evening, and the gift shops will be opened as usual.

Herrs has a tradition of unveiling new products during special events, but so far the marketing department isn’t saying whether snack food fans will have something new to try that evening.
