First Resource Bank Opens New, Expanded Exton Branch

By

First Resource Bank says its retail customer base is expanding and in response has relocated its Exton branch.

The new 3,500-square-foot branch bank at 800 N. Pottstown Pike (Route 100) is next to the Exton Super Wawa. It is three times the size of the former building and  has two drive-up teller windows, a drive-up ATM and a drive-up night drop box.

Glenn Marshall, president and CEO, said the bank is a beautifully renovated facility more accessible from Route 100.

Marshall attributes First Resource’s growth to the bank’s focus on friendly, highly personalized service, expertise with small and mid-size business financial services, flexible banking options and a commitment to surrounding neighborhoods and communities.

“We are a local, community bank in the truest sense of the word.” he said. “Our customers are our friends and neighbors and we feel a responsibility to make our communities better. It’s an approach that’s very genuine and it’s created success for us.”

First Resource is also beginning site work on a new branch in West Chester, expected to open in February.

“We’re expanding our footprint in central Chester County in response to the increase in our customer base,”  Marshall said. “On both the lending and retail side, in business banking and personal banking, we have seen a steady increase in the number of customers we serve.”

First Resource Bank serves businesses, professionals and individuals in Chester County with a full range of deposit and credit services.
