Phoenixville Federal Bank CEO’s Investments In Community Span A Lifetime

Richard Kunsch has not only worked his way through the ranks to CEO of Phoenixville Federal Bank & Trust, but he has also invested much of his time and money back into the community he was born and raised in.

“[His] community leadership is legend in the Phoenixville area community,” the Chester County Community Foundation stated, according to an article in The Phoenix Reporter & Item.

The 76-year resident and avid community booster is being honored for his vast contribution to improving the local quality of life and his exemplary charitable leadership on Nov. 3 as part of the foundation’s annual Jordan Award celebration.

“Among his most satisfying experiences, he recalled, were the expansion of the YMCA, expansion of Phoenixville Hospital, the rebirth of the Colonial Theater, the overall rebirth of Phoenixville Borough, and the formation of the Phoenixville Community Health Foundation,” the article stated.
