An egg company that has laid 17 straight years of double-digit unit sales growth (retail sales now totaling $758 million) and has captured 70 percent of the nation’s specialty egg market recently brought its purely golden success to Malvern with a new headquarters on Swedesford Road in the Great Valley Corporate Center.

And there are plenty more golden eggs in the future for Eggland’s Best.

“We think specialty eggs is going to continue to be a bigger and bigger and bigger part of the entire egg category,” President and CEO Charles T. Lanktree said in a Philly.com article.

What’s makes its eggs golden is that “compared to generic eggs,” the article stated, “Eggland’s Best says its large egg contains 25 percent less saturated fat, 38 percent more lutein, 10 times more vitamin E, four times more vitamin D, three times more vitamin B12, and double the Omega-3. It has 175 milligrams of cholesterol.”
