Great Atlantic Graphics of Malvern says they have installed a groundbreaking double-sided printing system to serve customers of the full-service graphic communications company.

Great Atlantic Graphics employs 70 people at two facilities and is a premier service provider for the local pharmaceutical, manufacturing, healthcare and education industries.  They offer design, prepress, offset printing, digital printing, finishing, mailing, fulfillment, DAM and web solutions.

The DJet double-sided printing system allows economical production of short runs featuring Epson quality, as well as an ultra-fast inkjet print solution for the output of double-sided imposition proofs.

Chris McDevitt, prepress manager of the firm whose motto is – “Precision isn’t just an objective, it’s a mandate” – said the system replaces an outdated system.

“The DJet has already made a significant impact on our business, giving us greater thru-put; improved quality of double-sided proofs, and faster, more accurate quality and registration,” said McDevitt.  “This has helped us to reduce costs, which is a win for any company.”

The DJet system is from CMYK Distributors in Weymouth, Mass. It can print up to 40 double-sided 8-up forms per hour to eliminate any production bottleneck, and can increase productivity and reduce costs.
