A longtime Exton business leader will help shape the emerging industry that aims to offer your first vacation to outer space.

After 13 years as vice president of government affairs at orbit-modeling software maker Analytical Graphics, Eric Stallmer will soon become president of the Commercial Spaceflight Federation, a position that will collaborate with Washington, D.C., policymakers at the Federal Aviation Administration’s commercial space office, Space News reported.

The transition comes at a time of significant change in federation leadership, as the organization is also without an executive director and will elect a new chairman in September.
