USA Technologies Continues To Help Boost National Vending Businesses

Most of us take vending machines for granted unless a candy bar or bag of chips gets stuck in the machine.

Malvern-based USA Technologies, Inc. is way ahead in giving consumers what they want in an industry that generates annual US revenue of $64,350,000.

The company, a national leader of wireless, cashless payment and M2M telemetry solutions for small-ticket, self-serve retailing industries, recently partnered with ParLevel Systems of San Antonio, Tex. to help Tom’s Vending, a vending and office coffee service operator in Monroe, La.

By using USAT’s “one-stop shop” ePort Connect™ service and ParLevel System’s remote monitoring services to improve operations and enhance customer satisfaction, the companies helped Tom’s Vending reduce labor costs, eliminate stops and increase sales.

ParLevel Systems offers a plug-and-play remote monitoring system with a simple, easy-to-use interface that provides operators with the ability to do pre-kitting, design routes based on proximity, track route drivers while they are on the road, receive real-time cash and credit accounting, develop and adapt plan-o-grams based on sales in each location.

“Louisiana Tom’s is dedicated to providing its customers with the best possible service and product selection,” said Chad Looney, owner of Louisiana Tom’s Vending.

“We are a long-time customer of USA Technologies, and we recently decided to add remote monitoring and route management capabilities to our business. Our existing ePort cashless payment systems in the field transferred data to ParLevel Systems so seamlessly that we decided to connect 750 additional machines to USAT’s ePort Connect service in conjunction with ParLevel Systems’ route management system.”

Looney said the combination is a win-win for the company and its customers and plans to expand its base of networked machines using both products and services.

USA Technologies, formed in 1992, has been granted 87 patents and works with Verizon, Visa, Elavon, Compass, Crane, Aramark, AMI Entertainment and many laundromats.
