SmartCEO Magazine Nominates Deacom Of Wayne For A 2014 Voltage Award

Deacom, Inc. of Wayne is one of the regional companies being considered for a 2014 Voltage Award from SmartCEO Magazine.

The Voltage Awards recognize the accomplishments of the region’s leading technology innovators and implementers and the impact the technology sector will have on economic growth. Deacom, which produces enterprise resource planning (ERP) software for process manufacturing companies, was chosen as a finalist for its creative vision, strong leadership and innovative solutions.

“We truly appreciate this acknowledgment of our ongoing commitment to the innovation and evolution of our product,” Jay Deakins, president of Deacom, said. “This recognition celebrates the remarkable team that drives our continued advancement and achievement.”

Deacom is one of a few finalists selected by an independent committee of local business leaders, and will be profiled in the magazine’s May/June issue. SmartCEO magazine, which has 50,000 readers, will hold an awards reception in May.

Deacom has customers with revenues ranging from $20 million to a billion in the adhesives, chemicals, cosmetics, food and beverage, pharmaceutical and fuels industries.
