WPCS Of Exton Announces Downloadable Beta Bitcoin

By

Marketwired.com is reporting that WPCS International of Exton has announced a beta version of the controversial BTX Bitcoin trader platform available directly from the web.

The platform was previously available only as a downloadable application for Windows-based operating systems but is now readily downloadable at www.btxtrader.com.

“Launching the web version of our BTX trading platform is yet another milestone for our company,” chief executive officer Sebastian Giordano stated in a news release.

“We have refined our technology during the beta downloadable application phase of our launch and are now ready to offer our users a more enhanced trading experience on the web,” he said. “We are pleased to now offer the beta via Mac and Linux operating systems.”

In addition to its Bitcoin trading platform, WPCS provides communications infrastructure contracting services to the public services, healthcare, energy and corporate enterprise markets. WPCS just purchased Btx Trader in December.

Earlier in the year WPCS told Matt Egan of Foxbusiness.com the company anticipated generating revenue by the middle of 2014.

According to Reuters, bitcoin is a form of electronic money independent of traditional banking. Bitcoins began circulating in 2009 and are one of several fledgling digital currencies. They are not regulated by banking policies.

Reuters reports bitcoin is controversial due to its volatility, lack of regulation, and that it is allegedly used to pay for illegal drugs and questionable transactions.
