Surrey Services for Seniors Announces Board of Directors for Fiscal Year 2019

Surrey Services for Seniors, a Devon-based nonprofit with a mission to help older adults live with independence and dignity and to continue as engaged members of the community, has announced its Board of Directors for fiscal year 2019.

Maureen Brennan-Miller, a board member since 2009 who has served on numerous committees, including marketing and development, will serve as Chair of the Board for a second year.

“Surrey’s 2019 Board is energized about implementing the three-year strategic plan,” said Bob Madonna, Surrey’s President and CEO. “This year, we will begin rolling out tactics and initiatives in support of the plan, strengthen connections with other agencies and companies, utilize our Center for Healthy Living to serve the greater community, and further our mission to help older adults.”

Board leadership also includes the following officers:

  • First Vice Chair: Rick Davis, President, Magis Insurance Group
  • Second Vice Chair: Jean P. Kozicki, System Director, Recruitment, Main Line Health, ret.
  • Treasurer: Kevin P. O’Brien, Director of Financial Services, Sanofi-Aventis, ret.
  • Secretary: Carl J. Needles, Retail Banking Officer and Vice President at Coatesville Savings Bank
  • Past Board Chair: Bruce Hopper, Managing Partner, Main Line Women’s Health Care Association, ret.

The board leadership team is joined by a new member: Bill Grim, a retired Vice President, Co-Executive Director, and Administrator of Inglis House.

“Bill has a wealth of experience in the aging services industry,” said Madonna. “His knowledge and leadership will be invaluable, particularly as Surrey works to grow our Home Care Services business.”

Before his tenure at Inglis House, Grim was the CEO for Saunders House and Bryn Mawr Terrace.
