Health Care Connect to Host Virtual Program on COVID, Social Pressures, System Advances on Oct. 28

Health Care Connect, an initiative of the Chester County Economic Development Council, invites you to join it on Wednesday, Oct. 28 from 8-10:30 AM for a virtual program highlighting peer perspectives about COVID-19, social pressures, and system advances.

Panelists include:

  • Talonda Rogers, who will present her unique perspectives not only as a Black female nurse and educator, but also her experiences as a patient
  • Vanessa Briggs, President and CEO of Brandywine Health Foundation, who will provide an in-depth portrayal of the impacts of COVID-19 on the underserved, specifically, residents within the Greater Coatesville community
  • Tony S. Reed, Executive Vice President and Chief Medical Officer of Temple University Health System, who will review COVID-19 and its regional impacts, along with an overview of Temple University Health System’s recent successes

Health Care Connect Board Chair Dr. Claire Mooney, the President and CEO of Jennersville Hospital/Tower Health, will moderate the program.
