SCORE Chester & Delaware County Co-hosts Women’s Entrepreneur Virtual Conference Nov. 17

SCORE Chester & Delaware Counties co-hosts “Challenge 2020: Stay the Course and Seize the Opportunities,” the annual West  Chester University Women’s Entrepreneurship Conference.

This year’s conference will be a virtual event Nov. 17, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., presented by BB&T Bank, now Truist.

It will include national speakers, breakout sessions, an exhibit hall and networking opportunities.

Keynote speaker is Laura Haung, associate professor at Harvard Business School and author of “The Edge: Turning Adversity into Advantage.”

Featured speaker is Karin Underwood, Stanford Social Innovation Fellow and founder of CoachMe Health.

Dr. Laura Sicola

Dr. Sicola is a leadership communication and influence expert and author of “Speaking to Influence: Mastering Your Leadership Voice.:

She’s host of the podcast, “Speaking to Influence: Communication Secrets of the C-Suite”.

Her mission is to help executives become confident, inspiring leaders whether on stage, on camera or just on the phone in order to get the results they want and make a positive, lasting impact.

As the founder of Vocal Impact Productions, she has trained and coached executives at Comcast, IBM, the US Department of Commerce and Women Against Abuse, along with politicians, business owners and non-profit leaders from around the world.

Sandra Shpilberg

Sandra Shpilberg is an entrepreneur and author of the bestselling book, “New Startup Mindset: 10 Mindset Shifts to Build the Company of Your Dreams.”

The book is based on her journey as a business founder; starting and building Seeker Health, a digital patient finding platform.

Since starting the company in 2015, Shpilberg developed a breakthrough software product, filed a US patent and built a team which served 60+ biopharmaceutical companies.

Her first startup was acquired in late 2018.

She recently began her second company, Adnexi, a strategic intelligence platform for the next generation of treatments.

She’s originally from Uruguay, speaking fluent Spanish and brings a global approach to her work and impact.

The virtual conference fee is $15. This non-refundable fee will be collected as part of the registration process.
