Chesterbrook Tech Company Plans to Cash in on A.I. Boom

By

A Chester County tech company is booming in success. Chesterbrook-based Boomi’s new CEO, Steve Lucas projects that the company could hit the $1 billion mark in the near future, writes Ryan Mulligan for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

The software company offers tools to allow companies, colleges, and organizations to collect data with its cloud technology, writes Mulligan. The technology is used by the likes of Dropbox and Moderna. Boomi, which has already jumped to 267 percent over the past few years, is also the inventor of Integration Platform as a Service, which is predicted to be the next hot industry.

Lucas says he’s leveraging the A.I. chatbot, ChatGPT, for its company. Boomi has an A.I. tool of its own, Boomi Suggest, which analyzes systems and applications in different companies.

“We’re going to change the landscape of enterprise integration,” Lucas said. “We will radically reduce from months to weeks to days, in fact, hours and minutes, the effort to actually connect these systems. So, you’re talking about a productivity increase that we haven’t seen in this industry yet.”
