Chester County Home Prices Higher, Increasing Faster Than Neighboring Counties

According to Philadelphia Business Journal, home prices in Chester County were higher than any other Delaware Valley county during 2013.

The paper’s January 28th edition, citing a report prepared by Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices states the median sale price of Chester County homes in 2013 was $297,000, an increase of 4.2% over 2012 sale prices.  Bucks County’s home sales prices came in at $269.000 followed by Montgomery County’s home sale prices at $255,000.
