Here are five Chester County golf courses that are among the top 50 in the state according to Golf Digest.
White Manor Country Club—Malvern. A unique course with elevation changes throughout, White Manor offers a fun golfing experience with different challenges suited to players of all skill levels.
Stonewall: North Course—Elverson. Designed by Tom Doak, Stonewall Golf Club’s North Course features intricate greens lined with ample trees. According to golfer feedback, the accessible course can be enjoyed by most golfers.
French Creek Golf Club—Elverson. Ranking in Pennsylvania’s Top 50 Golf Courses for the first time, French Creek Golf Club offers stunning views and natural waterways throughout for a unique golfing experience.
Applebrook Golf Club—Malvern. As designer Gil Hanse’s second course, Applebrook Golf Club features wide fairways and a variety of green complexes to make the course engaging for both new and experienced golfers.
Stonewall: Old Course—Elverson. A more challenging play than the Stonewall North Course, the Old Course features a complex layout with downhill topography. The course has also hosted the 2016 U.S. Mid-Amateur Tournament and the 2023 Women’s Mid-Amateur Tournament.
