AgConnect has introduced the Chester County Farmers Market Trail, a fun, community-centered program that celebrates the county’s rich agricultural roots and vibrant local farmers markets. Running through the end of December 2025, the Chester County Farmers Market Trail invites residents and visitors to experience ten diverse farmers markets across Chester County and collect a stamp at each one.
A completed Farmers Market Trail card can be submitted to receive a special Ag Swag Bag with gifts and information on all freshly-grown, locally-produced products found year-round in markets, on farms, and in local stores and restaurants.
“We value all farmers and the organizations that support agriculture throughout Chester County,” said Jordan Peek from AgConnect. “The breadth of product diversity in this county never ceases to amaze me, with a tremendous selection of local farm products, from meats, eggs, fresh produce and cheeses, to honey, flowers, wines, ciders and more.
“The Farmers Market Trail is a celebration of community, sustainability, and fresh local food,” added Peek. “It’s a wonderful way for families and individuals to engage with our farmers and artisans while enjoying the beauty and diversity of Chester County. When we buy from local farm businesses, we help ensure that Chester County farms are here to stay.”
The following farmers markets are participating in the Chester County 2025 Farmers Market Trail:
- Artisan Exchange – West Chester
- Berwyn Farmers Market – Berwyn
- Downingtown Farmers Market – Downingtown
- Eagleview Farmers Market – Exton
- KSQ Farmers Market – Kennett Square
- Malvern Farmers Market – Malvern
- New Garden Growers Market – Landenberg
- Oxford Village Market – Oxford
- Phoenixville Farmers Market – Phoenixville
- West Chester Growers Market – West Chester
Anyone taking part can pick up a trail map at all participating farmers markets or download the trail map. Look for the Farmers Market Trail yard sign at each farmers market to collect a stamp. Once all ten stamps are collected, participants can submit a photo of their completed map through the website, or leave their map at their final market stop.
Everyone who completes the Chester County Farmers Market Trail by Dec. 31, 2025, will receive a complimentary Ag Swag Bag as a thank you for supporting local agriculture and small businesses throughout Chester County.
