An experiential golfing venue is making its grand opening in King of Prussia this July. With over 70 locations scattered across the country, Topgolf mixes sport with leisure, writes Emma Dooling for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

Spanning 48.5 acres, the three- floor venue will include 34 hitting bays on each level and can serve 534 players.

In addition to golf, there will be other backyard style games, like cornhole and Jenga. But Topgolf offers more than just games on the green. It has an on-site dining experience both indoors and outdoors. The weekends will bring live music and entertainment to patrons.

“With all the pharmaceutical companies and the big businesses [and] home offices that are in this area, I think it was a no brainer for the brand just to kind of ingratiate ourselves into this community,” said director of operations Hasan Fleming-Salley.

Topgolf will partner with local businesses such as breweries, and potentially add draft to the beer menu. It’s also located near other golf courses. Around 450 people have been hired to work for that location.
