Wayne-Based Radian Announces New Chief Financial Officer

Sumita Pandit will be Radian Group's new Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.

Wayne-based mortgage insurer is adding a new face to the C-suite. Sumita Pandit will be Radian Group’s senior executive vice president and chief financial officer, writes Jeff Blumenthal for the Philadelphia Business Journal.  

Pandit has an extensive resume, joining Radian’s team as the first chief growth officer in March. Previously she was the Chief Operating Officer for the San Francisco fintech company dLocal. She also worked in several leadership positions for JP Morgan Chase & Co from 2015 to 2021. 

Additionally, she served as the vice president of the financial institutions group at Goldman Sachs between 2008 to 2015. She also serves on the board for Pushpay, a donor management company.  

Pandit will be succeeding J. Franklin Hall whose employment terminated last year but continued to work for the company until Feb. 28. Her educational experience is also quite impressive, graduating from Penn’s Wharton School with an MBA.
