Seventeen Chester County areas are among the top fifty priciest places and most expensive neighborhoods in the Philadelphia region last year, according to a staff report from Philadelphia Magazine

The highest-ranked is Easttown Township in fourth place with a 2022 average home price of $1,127,221, which represents a one-year change of 13 percent. 

Next is Pennsbury Township at No. 14 with an average home price of $865,130, which equals a one-year change of eight percent. Willistown Township follows at No. 18 with an $825,557 average home price and a year-over-year increase of eight percent. 

Newlin Township also made the top 20 at No. 20, but the township actually recorded a drop in price year-over-year of 25 percent. The average 2022 home price is $823,758.
