S&T Bank recently made a $1,000 donation to the Jackie Robinson Baseball League of Chester. The donation will be used to create a baseball infield for the teams that play in the league.

Mark Freeman, a director of the Jackie Robinson Baseball League of Chester at 222 Penn St in Chester, oversees the children who play for JRB. The goal of the league is to impart the values of teamwork, sportsmanship and fair play to the children who participate. These traits will help develop the children into leaders in the community. Sponsorships and donations to the league affords these benefits.

“John Stefanik, who generously volunteers his time and efforts in maintaining various little league fields throughout the Chester area has been tremendously supportive of this project,” said Freeman.

“S&T Bank approaches each donation on how it will make an impact to the community and helping out like this will hopefully bring joy to the little leaguers who play this great sport of baseball,” said Monterosso, Brand Ambassador of S&T Bank.
