Downingtown brothers Josh and Zach Stehle are using their social media stardom for autism advocacy. Josh, a junior at West Chester University, runs a Tik Tok account with 100,000 followers spreading awareness about what it’s like for his brother Zach to live with autism, writes Avani Shah-Lipman for Main Line Today.

Josh has a lot of credit to give his brother, who was the driving inspiration behind his new book, I Am a Superhero Expert: Growing Up with My Autistic Brother. Josh considers his brother super-hero like because he’s always trying to help others.

“When I made the conscious effort to become Zach-like, it felt really good. Zach looks at the world and says, ‘How can I make the world a better place like a superhero would?” he said.

Josh says that making an impact for autism advocacy requires “creating a culture of understanding and acceptance,” while making sure that everyone’s voice is heard.

“If only people could take the time to get to know someone like Zach, they’d see how much he could benefit the world with what he brings to the table,” said Josh.

The brothers are going on tour at high school and middle school Comic-cons throughout the state and are set to be featured on The Ausome Show as well as two podcasts.
