Tourism Agency Touts These Hidden Gems in West Chester

Chester County is a gold mine for hidden gems in the Philadelphia area. While LOVE Park and chowing down on cheesesteaks may be the go-to Philly attractions, there are suburban splendors that shouldn’t be slept on, according to Visit Philadelphia.
Two fantastic spots to visit lay in West Chester.
Baldwin’s Book Barn in West Chester is a top spot for tourists to add to their local lexicon. This five-story barn is the home to over 300,000 rare books, manuscripts, maps, paintings, and more.
Built in 1822, this vast bank of books features hobbit-esque details and design motifs to transport the bookworm into their favorite fantasy series.
If the outdoors is calling instead, Treehouse World in West Chester is the perfect family spot. This arboreal amusement park features a dozen themed tree houses across 14 acres.
The topiary structures are all unique, ranging from a gingerbread house, a giant cake, and a pirate ship, to a top hat. The park also offers rock climbing, bungee jumping, ax throwing, and zip lining.
