Coatesville native Amber Little Turner is the Downtown Manager for the Coatesville 2nd Century Alliance, a public/private partnership that aims to drive the city’s economic development, and a realtor with The Matt Gorham Team.

“At the 2nd Century Alliance, I’m tasked with implementing our downtown revitalization plan — connecting businesses to resources, creating an inviting environment, planning events, recruiting new business, and managing our Made in Coatesville Small Business Incubator,” she said. “What I enjoy the most about it is that I get to work in and for the community I also have the privilege of living in. I’ve always been a huge advocate for entrepreneurship, and having the ability to guide and mentor our small business community has been an amazing experience.”

Little Turner, who began working when she was 12 years old cleaning houses, is a graduate of Coatesville High School. She credits the Honorable Gwenn Knapp and former State Rep. Harry Lewis with having the biggest impact on her career.

Little’s Turner’s proudest professional achievement has been the implementation of the Made in Coatesville Small Business Incubator.

“Our mission is to provide a cost-effective, physical location where entrepreneurs can sell and market their goods and services while being supported with the necessary tools that will give them the greatest chance for growth, success, and adding jobs to the community,” she said.

Little Turner’s favorite Chester County restaurant is The Record Kitchen and Bar, which opened last fall in Coatesville.

Little Turner and the rest of the 2023 Class of VISTA Millennial Superstars will be honored at the Awards Reception & Celebration on Thursday, May 18 at Penn State Great Valley.
