Learn About Upcoming Nursing Programs, Cannabis Studies at P.I.T.

The Pennsylvania Institute of Technology (P.I.T.) in Media has scheduled in-person and virtual information sessions on the upcoming Licensed Practical Nursing and Cannabis Studies program starting in the Spring term on April 10.

Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN)

On Feb. 24, from 2 to 3 PM, you can join an in-person session to gather the necessary details you need to join the school’s Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) program.

 During the session, get program-specific details about the admission process from Director of Enrollment Services Laura Blomgren, including how to transfer credits, what documents are required, when pre-requisites are needed, and more.

You will also have a chance to participate in live presentations from the Nursing Simulation Labs, tour the campus, explore classrooms, and see a presentation from program director Corey Dennis, MSN, who will talk about what the program is and what it has to offer.

The visit will also introduce you to other program instructors and to the admissions and financial aid teams.

On March 14, from 6 to 7 PM., a Zoom session with program director Corey Dennis will provide program-specific information and offer a presentation with a detailed look at the LPN program at P.I.T

Cannabis Studies  

Gather the necessary details to join P.I.T.’s r exciting Cannabis Studies A.S. program in a virtual information session Feb. 28, 6 to 7 PM, and an in-person session March 22, 2 to 3 PM, from program director Lou Giannotti.

During the 6 to 7 PM Zoom session, you can gather program-specific details about the admission process including how to transfer credits, what documents are required, when pre-requisites are needed, etc.

You will also view a live presentation Lou Giannotti who will dive deep into the three Cannabis majors offered and what the programs are all about.

During the in-person session on Cannabis Studies, you can gather program-specific details and you will have a chance to participate in live presentations from the cannabis classrooms, tour the campus, explore the growing tents, and more.

In addition, you will have a chance to meet program director Lou Giannotti, program instructors as well as the admissions and financial aid teams.
