The new 2023 Miss Philadelphia Jacqueline Means and the 2023 Miss Philadelphia Outstanding Teen Eva DelRicci were crowned in a ceremony at the prestigious Lincoln University, writes Jessica Yakubovsky for PHL17

The Historically Black College in Chester County was the host of the pageant’s crowning ceremony for the first time in 102 years.

Both winners will receive a scholarship of over $150,000, including a full Cabrini University scholarship.

The new Misses will act as the city’s role models and ambassadors and will each make more than 100 appearances throughout the year.

“I am so indescribably honored to be the 102nd woman to hold this title,” said Means. “We have a long history of excellence and service to the Philadelphia city, and I’m excited to be a part of that and grateful for this opportunity.”

In addition, the 20-year-old Means and the 15-year-old DelRicci will represent the City of Brotherly Love at the Miss Pennsylvania competition. In the case that they come out victorious, they will represent Pennsylvania at the Miss America Competition.
