Valentine’s Day is around the corner, and there are plenty of places in Chester County to have a date night with that special someone, writes Gina Lizzo for Main Line Today.

In West Chester, nothing says high-end like a filet mignon or a surf n’ turf feast at Pietro’s Prime. This steak house and seafood restaurant is the perfect place to spoil your soul mate. This family-run restaurant has earned many accolades. Guests can also sip on one of the many martinis, including pear-, watermelon-, or chocolate-flavored.

Fans of Italian food would love the prix fixe menu of Tuscan cuisine in the heart of Chester County. The Orangery in Downingtown’s Valentine’s Day menu starts out with shrimp crostini and caprese followed by rigatoni, tilapia, or scaloppini with mushrooms and a surprise dessert.

Foxfire Restaurant at the Stone Bar, a family operated venue in Kennett Square, has the perfect romantic ambiance. This Valentine’s Day comes with a prix fixe menu and features live music. Couples can choose from grilled Moroccan lamb chop, caviar toast, brie, oysters or a charcuterie board to share. Main dishes include salmon, veal and mushroom ribeye.

Finally, be sure to make a reservation for Brandywine Prime. The award-winning upscale restaurant has all the meat-based dishes one could need for a perfect dinner in Chadds Ford. Its extensive menu features an array of steak, a raw bar, wagyu beef short ribs and ravioli stuffed with local Kennett Square mushrooms.
