A 24,000-square-foot West Chester home made up entirely of concrete, steel, and glass hit the market recently for $8.8 million, writes Ryan Mulligan for the Philadelphia Business Journal

The ultra-modern residence boasts an all-glass cylinder with views of the pool and front yard. There is also another glass-encased walkway at the back of the house providing panoramic views of the 21-acre gated property close to Brandywine Creek.

According to listing agent Rory Burkhart, the pool is one of the largest in Chester County. Additionally, the property features 10,000 square feet of terrace space as well as a temperature-controlled drive-through garage that can fit 12 cars.

“It’s like living in a piece of art, the entire home needs to be experienced to be appreciated, but it doesn’t feel overwhelming even though it is 24,000 square feet,” said Burkhart, an agent with Burkhart Realty Group and Keller Williams.

The highlights include a sauna, theater, gym, and a commercial-grade elevator. Meanwhile, the owner’s suite stretches the entire top floor and offers sweeping views of the property.

“The attraction is for someone who’s looking for something that’s artistic but also in a very private and unique location,” said Burkhart.
