Chester County businesses are awaiting the Philly fanfare for tonight’s Birds game against the Giants, which could trail-blaze their way to the Super Bowl, writes Jen Samuel for The Daily Local News

Carlino’s Market said that they will be selling football chocolate-covered strawberries, as well as Philly favorites like tomato pies and stromboli.

“When our teams are winning, Philadelphia is the happiest place on Earth. Everyone is joyful, kinder, and more together,” said Nadia Carlino, creative brand writer at Carlino’s Market.

Many venues will also be hosting watch parties, such as The Whip Tavern in West Marlborough and The Creamery in Kennett Square. Sports fans who stop by The Creamery will have food and drinks specials including wings, crab fries, and a bucket of beers ranging from $55-$60.

Kildare’s Irish Pub in West Chester will have beer and shot specials.

“Go Birds,” said Dane Gray, owner of Kildare’s.

Fans around the Philadelphia area are hoping the Eagles can replicate the 2018 victory against the New England Patriots.

It’s no doubt that a win will put the region in high spirits.
