Chester County Chamber of Business and Industry will host their annual Small Business Awards Breakfast at 8 AM — 10 AM on Thursday, Feb. 23, 2023 at Penn Oaks Golf Club at 150 Penn Oaks Drive in West Chester.

The chamber will honor AEONRG as “Small Business of the Year,” Home of the Sparrow as “Nonprofit of the Year,” and SCORE Chester and Delaware Counties as “Community Partner of the Year.” Mark Madrid, Associate Administrator of U.S Small Business Association, will be the keynote speaker at the event.

AEONRG, a local facility renovation organization, demonstrates success through high quality service and giving back to veterans and the Chester County community. Home of the Sparrow partners with women facing homelessness to secure housing, achieve long-term stability, and chart new paths for their futures. SCORE Chester and Delaware Counties is dedicated to educating entrepreneurs and encouraging the formation, growth and success of small businesses in our community.

“The Chamber is excited to celebrate AEONRG, Home of the Sparrow, and SCORE of Delaware and Chester Counties for their exemplary work in our community,” said Laura Manion, President of Chester County Chamber of Business and Industry. The Chamber is also pleased to host Associate Administrator Madrid, someone who has first-hand knowledge of the challenges, sacrifices and opportunities facing our small businesses today.” Manion continued, “Many large corporations choose to make Chester County their home and while we are proud to have them, our Chamber knows that the thousands of small businesses across the county are the true economic engines of our community.”

The Chester County Chamber of Business and Industry is partnering with Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania for this event. The Girl Scouts will be on-site selling cookies to attendees.
