The mint chocolate chip cocktail is one of many specialties at the Black Powder Tavern.

Since not everyone is up for cooking up a Christmas feast, the county is home to dozens of restaurants that are open on Christmas Eve, writes Gina Lizzo for Main Line Today.

Guests can dine on seasonal dishes without worrying about putting a pie in the oven or a fork on the table. Here are some places around Chester County that are taking reservations for Christmas Eve.

Swing in the season with a Lobster Pot Pie topped off with a mint chocolate martini cocktail on the tavern’s special holiday menu.
