Four were honored for CCRES staff achievements in September for their outstanding contributions. They were nominated by administrators, customers, and the community for their continued dedication to their work and to the clients.

CCRES, based in Downingtown, specializes in providing over 1,500 professional, dedicated staff members to meet the needs of children and adults challenged by autism, behavioral health issues, mental illness, intellectual/developmental disabilities, and physical disabilities.

It works with school districts, intermediate units, and community organizations.

The CCRES board approved resolutions at its board meeting in September highlighting those staff members who were nominated.

Recognized for CCRES staff achievements in September were:  

Alyssa has been supporting the CCRES Human Resources team in an administrative capacity for nearly five years.

She has emerged as an integral part of the core team, acting as a resource for CCRES recruiters, staff, and customers, particularly in the areas of compliance, training, and onboarding new staff.

Alyssa continues to grow in her administrative skillset taking on new challenges including becoming Chairperson of the CCRES Safety Committee and becoming a key resource in matters pertaining to Worker’s Compensation;

She is a thoughtful and caring team member who takes pride in the quality of her work and her commitment to her team members which makes her an essential part of the CCRES team.

Marie joined the CCRES team in 2017 and, having previously earned her teaching certificate, is uniquely qualified to serve as a Reading Paraprofessional with CCRES in one of its partner school districts Tredyffrin-Easttown School District (TESD).

Marie has supported New Eagle Elementary School with distinction as a CCRES employee, always promoting a supportive environment and team atmosphere within the school community.

Her colleagues describe Marie as a skilled reading teacher always willing to help, and that she always puts the needs of her children first.

CCRES and TESD are fortunate to have Marie on the team for her dedication and caring, and as an ongoing source of positivity, skill and kindness.

“I love the team atmosphere and supportive environment at New Eagle. I consider it a privilege to have such a wonderful job! The most rewarding aspect of my job is when the parent of a former student shares their child’s success in school,” Marie said.

Marie has two children who are both graduates of T/E and who are both pursuing successful careers and is married “to a wonderful husband who encouraged me to follow my dream and become a teacher.”

“Marie is a skilled reading teacher who also helps us at New Eagle when we are in need of substitute teaching help. Marie is talented and dedicated, and she always puts the needs of the students first,” said her supervisor.

Shea joined CCRES out of college working first as a Personal Care Assistant, then earning her certification as a Registered Behavior Technician, finally obtaining the required fieldwork and experience to receive her Board Certified Behavior Analyst certificate.

She is an extremely professional, caring, and communicative colleague demonstrating an ability to adapt and grow personally and professionally.

Her colleagues said that Shea forms wonderful relationships with teachers and students in the classroom.

Shea has been with CCRES for over five years and is a shining example of growing a career with CCRES.

She said that CCRES has changed her life and brought out her passion for helping others.

“I am so beyond thankful for the opportunities and continued support from the CCRES team throughout this journey. I look forward to continuing to learn and grow as an individual, and fellow team member!”

Her supervisor Danielle described Shea as a true team player. “I’m so proud to see her move through CCRES first as a PCA, then an RBT and now a BCBA. She is a true asset!”

Ramadhani “Rama” joined CCRES in 2019 working in the ACHIEVE at Milltown Program and has since become an integral part of the CCIU Adult Services program as a Direct Support Provider (DSP).

He is an exceptionally hard worker who never hesitates to help in any situation demonstrating patience and kindness.

His colleagues said that Rama builds instant rapport with consumers in his care and always provides service with a smile.

“Working with people with Intellectual disabilities is my passion, it gives me a rewarding feeling to help someone with special needs conquer the daily challenges life can throw their way. I have learned patience can get you through almost anything.”

His supervisor said Rama started just before the pandemic hit.

“As the only male DSP at Achieve, we rely on Rama daily to help with what can be a physically challenging job, and he is always there with a smile on his face, willing to do whatever is necessary to keep things going smoothly. Rama is a valued employee and total team player!”

CCRES services

Through the CCRES partnership with the Chester County Intermediate Unit. CCRES provides team members in Home & Community Services (H&CS) and Advanced Clinical Services (ACS) programs.  

 They assist clients in increasing socially appropriate behaviors that will maximize their potential, independence, and self-advocacy while promoting healthy, functional relationships. 

Services extend into Chester, Cumberland, Delaware, Montgomery, Lancaster, Lebanon, York, and Bucks Counties.

The Advanced Clinical Services (ACS) division, also through the CCIU, features comprehensive, evidence-based services to assess, diagnose and treat students with complex behaviors and related mental health disorders.  

ACS is led by a team of highly trained professionals including licensed psychologists, board-certified behavior analysts, mental health specialists, and case managers. 

The continuum of services addresses the needs of students presenting with extreme behavioral challenges.

The District Services division partners with local school districts in Southeastern PA to provide staff to support regular and special education programs.

CCRES provides instructional aides, paraprofessionals, reading specialists, eligibility specialists, and a variety of other staff that works in close partnership with district staff to assist students with educational and behavioral health needs.
