A new migration report from moveBuddha reveals that more people are moving out-of-state than in-state since 2020. Some of the reasons for fleeing the Keystone State include high-taxes, weather, lifestyle, or career changes, writes Joe Robison for moveBudda.com.

Most people are flocking to Florida, California, Texas, North Carolina, and New York. Yet, there are cities within PA that are seeing a higher inflow of residents.

Kennett Square ranked No. 3 on the list of towns in PA that people move to, according to data analyzed by moveBuddha. Lancaster and Hershey take the No. 1 and No. 2 spots respectively.

Lots of residents are attracted to these towns due to strong economies, community atmosphere, and “small-town charm” writes Robison.

Given Kennett Square’s title as the Mushroom Capital of the World and small-town feel, it’s no question that people want to set down roots in this Chester County town.
