Chester County is home to eight towns that are among the 100 best places to live on the East Coast, writes Elisa Fernández-Arias for Stacker.

To compile the list, Stacker used the 2022 data from Niche. The factors used to determine the ranking included the population and median household income.

Chesterbrook was crowned as the best place to live on the East Coast, as well as in the nation. The charming town with a population of 5,080 is also the top-ranked place in the entire country. This historic community is famous for being the home of Valley Forge National Historical Park and the Jenkins Arboretum & Gardens.

Berwyn managed to break into the top 40 at No. 36. Being close to Philadelphia makes it a good choice for young professionals and families.

East Whiteland Township also made the list at No. 49, followed by Upper Uwchlan Township at No. 51, Exton at No. 66, and Devon at No. 70. The list is rounded out with East Marlborough Township at No. 86 and Birmingham Township at No. 92.
