A Malvern-based cybersecurity consultant is making a name for himself. 23-year-old Nick Swink has earned his spot in Philadelphia Business Journal’s Inno Under 25 list, writes Rachel Ravina.
The Temple University and East Downingtown High School grad specializes in the management of information systems and was able to take his skills to Layer 8 Security.
It’s a company that provides cybersecurity services to over 200 clients across multiple industries. Swink’s specific role is on the offensive security team, which conducts simulated cyberattacks in order to better assess their client’s needs. Swink also created SilentHound as an internal education tool. The code for SilentHound is available on Github.
The Inno Under 25 highlights young innovators in the Philadelphia area start-up scene. The list includes fourteen individuals who are all 25 years old or younger. Their creations span across the biotechnology, education, culinary, and financial industries.
