L2P, a design firm that has worked on many local establishments, has been acquired by Canadian design and architecture giant Stantec, writes Ryan Mulligan for the Philadelphia Business Journal

The deal is expected to close before the end of the year.

L2P has done the design and architectural work on numerous projects throughout the region and Chester County for companies such as Bentley Systems, headquartered in Exton, Endo’s headquarters in Malvern, as well as Brandywine Realty Trust.

Stantec also worked on notable projects in the area, including West Chester University’s Sciences & Engineering Center and The Commons.

“Stantec and L2P have a working relationship, both past and present, and uniting through this acquisition is a natural course of action in our partnership,” said John LaProcido, the managing principal at L2P.
