Chester County is home to five of the 50 best private high schools in Pennsylvania for 2023, according to a new report published by Niche. 

To determine the 2023 Best Private High Schools in Pennsylvania, Niche analyzed key statistics along with reviews submitted by students and parents. The ranking factors included SAT/ACT scores, student-teacher ratio, the quality of colleges that students consider, and the percentage of seniors who go on to four-year colleges. 

All of the schools that made the top 50 received an A+ or an A grade for their overall score. 

The highest ranked school in Chester County is Westtown School in West Chester at No. 16. Westtown has a yearly tuition of $39,720 and an average graduation rate of 100 percent. 

Malvern Preparatory School follows in No. 25. The school has a yearly tuition of $38,585 and a 100 percent graduation rate. 

Next is Devon Preparatory School in No. 33, followed by Church Farm School in Exton at No. 37. 

The list is rounded out by Villa Maria Academy High School in Malvern at No. 50.
