Steel from World Trade Center Stands at National Iron & Steel Heritage Museum in Coatesville
The National Iron & Steel Heritage Museum in Coatesville has erected a steel trident from the World Trade Center as part of its 21st annual commemorative ceremony for Sept. 11, according to a staff report from FOX 29.
The 9-foot-tall, 30-ton structure is one of the many that were created by Luken’s Steel in 1969 as support systems for the lobby and nine floors of the Twin Towers.
Most of them were still standing following the tragic attacks, and one of them can now be seen by visitors at its new home outside of the museum.
