Human Resources Director
This position will establish and maintain positive, trusting, and highly productive relationships and work closely with employees to build morale and support the development of an organizational team culture that provides effective and efficient public service delivery with the highest level of customer service.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business, Psychology, Public Administration, or related field is required (master’s preferred), coupled with 10 or more years of Human Resources experience, and with at least five years at a management level. SHRM-CP Certified and/or the ability to obtain within a reasonable period of time following appointment is also desired.Â

Director of Emergency Services
This position will help set the tone for the department’s vision, mission, and culture for the delivery of high-quality critical emergency support services for first responder operations throughout the county. The Department of Emergency Services is responsible for emergency management public information & education, 9-1-1 call receipt, dispatch, and related quality assurance countywide.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in emergency management, public administration, business administration, or a related field is required (master’s preferred), coupled with ten or more years of leadership experience in a senior position, including five to ten years of program management experience. Also, other leadership certifications and training from the Association of Public Safety Communications Officials, National Emergency Number Association (ENP), and/or International Association of Emergency Managers (IAEM) Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) preferred.

Population Health Supervisor
This position is will direct the team’s work in disease investigation, disease surveillance, contact tracing, and infection prevention in accordance with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Pennsylvania Department of Health, and Chester County regulations and guidelines.Â
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health and at least three years of job-related experience. Candidates should have excellent interpersonal skills, as well as strong organizational and problem solving skills. They should also have current knowledge of county and departmental policies, procedures, labor laws, and human resources guidelines.
