Chester County Chamber of Business & Industry hosted the Summer Solstice Celebration on Tuesday, June 21 from 5 PM to 8 PM at The Inn at Grace Winery in Glen Mills.

Guests enjoyed sipping wine and signature cocktail, the Foundation Fizz, while overlooking the beautiful grounds of Grace Winery. They also enjoyed the sounds of the Lenape Brass Band, incredible silent auction items, and a special winery tasting. This event was a spectacular kick off to summer, and a chance for business partners and the community to come together and reconnect with friends old and new.

The event supported the Chester County Youth Leadership Program, which is a cornerstone of the Foundation’s work.

“The Summer Solstice Event served as our yearly celebration of the Chamber Foundation’s Youth Leadership Program,” said Laura Manion, President of the Chester County Chamber of Business and Industry.”

“The Youth Leadership Program (YLP) focuses on creating educational opportunities for Chester County high school students to build strong, meaningful connections with professionals and industry leaders, while building the confidence and skills to be successful in whatever path they ultimately choose after their high school graduation. The chamber is honored to serve in the development of the future leaders of Chester County. The evening was a roaring success, and we look forward to many more exciting events in the future,” she continued.

Thomas Padula, President of Padula Media spoke about his experience in the Chamber’s Youth Leadership Program at the event, “While being a junior in high school and running a business, I found that having true experience in the local business community with the Chester County Chamber was invaluable. The opportunity to meet business leaders, local influencers, and members of the chamber enabled me to connect with people who helped me to grow Padula Media. The chamber, both then and now, has been a great resource to both Padula Media and myself.”

“The Summer Solstice Celebration was a huge success thanks to the support of our sponsorships, donations, volunteers, and attendees. We are looking forward to next year’s celebration,” Padula continued.
