911 Dispatcher 

This position will handle and process emergency calls in a timely, professional manner, send calls for dispatch to appropriate responders, and review and submit caller location and Computer-Aided Dispatch data corrections. 

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or related, at least three months of experience in a job-related field, and the ability to clearly speak, read, and write English. Candidates should have excellent listening and communication skills and be able to multitask.

Assistant Director for Quality 

This position will ensure the specified number of quality reviews of the 911 center calls are performed monthly, investigate and respond to all complaints or inquiries, and provide direct support to the Communication Center for the Quality Review equipment and software. Other duties include overseeing the distribution of event data. 

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and at least three years of experience in a 911 Communications Center and three years of supervisory experience. Candidates should have the ability to work independently and maintain confidential information.

Chief Deputy Coroner 

This position will supervise full-time and part-time Coroner’s Investigators, supervise all medicolegal death investigations in Chester County, and testify in criminal and civil proceedings. Other duties include reviewing investigator schedules and payroll. 

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in healthcare, criminal justice, or a related field and at least seven years of experience in medicolegal death investigations in a coroner’s or medical examiner’s office. Candidates should have knowledge of forensic techniques and have great time management skills.
