Accountant II: Chester County Library, Exton 

This position will maintain the General Ledger, special funds, and grants of 15 libraries; audit accounts; and generate financial statements. Other responsibilities include monitoring payroll, analyzing expenditure, revenue, and balance sheet accounts for accuracy, and monitoring library funds. 

The ideal candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in accounting and two years of experience in governmental/fund accounting. The ideal candidate should have experience with automated accounting and record-keeping systems and the ability to maintain confidential information/matters.

Director of Adult Probation and Parole: Justice Center, West Chester 

This position will provide oversight and direction for all units of the department, oversee the supervision of approximately 9,000 justice-involved individuals, and administer and oversee grant programs. Other responsibilities include serving as backup hearing officer and researching laws, regulations, policies, and precedent decisions to ensure departmental compliance. 

The ideal candidate must have a bachelor’s degree and 10 years of job-related experience. Candidates should have knowledge of court, probation, and parole procedures. Candidates should be able to work in a team, be organized, and have effective negotiation skills.

Safety and Security Supervisor: Government Services Center, Westtown 

This position will require leadership and guidance for Security Operators, perform regular patrols of the Historic Courthouse, respond to all alarms and incidents, and protect the county’s assets relative to theft, assault, fire, and other safety issues.  

The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma or GED and at least three years of law enforcement experience. Candidates should have Acts 120 and 235 certifications and strong people skills.
