Coatesville Rising: Movement Community Development Corporation to Host First Annual Scholarship Event

To support the efforts of those who are forging careers that contribute to the rising of Coatesville and the surrounding area, the Movement Community Development Corporation (MCDC) will host its first annual Coatesville Rising: Community Scholarship Awards Event.  

Through these awards, the MCDC seeks to celebrate those with a positive vision for Coatesville and a dream to make a lasting impact on the community. 

Awards will be presented by Minnie McNeil, State Rep. Dan Williams, City Manager James Logan, Dr. Vincent Miles, and Angeline May of the William Lyster May Foundation.  

The luncheon will be held on Saturday, April 30 from 2-5 PM at the Coatesville Country Club.

The MCDC will be awarding individuals seeking careers in the following areas:

  • Health & Wellness
  • Small Business
  • Community Outreach/Activism 
  • Trades & Industry 
  • Arts, Theater, and Music
